Mr. Carlos Aquino, LCPS, ACS, CCTP, CFPRS

Over the last 28 years, Mr. Aquino is experienced in working with a broad range of emotional and mental problems with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families.   

 

Over the years, Mr. Aquino has incorporated innovative processes with an interactive focus to engage audiences. Focusing on creating and presenting programs for employee career development, crisis management, and outpatient services.   

 

He authored various curriculum addressing violence prevention, family strengthening, and marriage preservation. He previously served as the Director of Counseling and Wellness Center for the University of St. Francis, clinical director for a child welfare agency, psychology adjunct professor, consultant to school districts, government agencies, and business organizations.  

 

Mr. Aquino appeared and featured in various community television and radio programs. He also received honorable mention in newspaper articles in recognition for his services. He is a recipient of numerous awards and honors for program development and community leadership which include but not limited to: Illinois Counselor Association 2016 Site Supervisor of the Year Award, Making the Difference, and The Community Leadership Award by Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
